Questions, answered

Can I buy a program today?

Not yet. Programs open in stages, starting with First Cold. Join the list and you will be the first to know when it opens.

Do I need a sauna?

Not to start. First Cold needs only a shower. Contrast works with a sauna, a hot bath or a gym sauna, and every program gives you an option for what you have.

Is cold exposure safe?

For most healthy adults, short and gradual cold exposure is well tolerated, but it is a real stress on the body. Talk to your doctor first if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, Raynaud’s, epilepsy or take medication that affects your heart. Never plunge alone, and get out if you feel unwell.

How long is a session?

First Cold sessions take 10 to 15 minutes. A full Contrast session takes 45 to 50 minutes, including strength and stillness.

Can I follow a program at my gym?

Yes. Everything is guided by audio on your phone, and the protocol cards fit in a gym bag. You only need access to heat, cold water and, for Strength, a kettlebell or dumbbells.

When does First Cold open?

First Cold opens first, followed by Contrast and Strength. Join the list on the Programs page and choose your program; you will get one email on the day it opens.

Is KELD medical treatment?

No. KELD programs are wellness and training programs. They are not medical advice and do not replace care from a doctor.
